Part of the work I did for a mobile game a few years ago. It was supposed to be a 2-D scrolling beat-em-up game, set in a high-school. The premise was pretty kooky (since I was the one who wrote it): it was about the Student Council President and her lackeys beating the school back into submission after the students started rioting. The game, unfortunately, never came to fruition.
I was the person in charge of planning and animating all the sprites, despite having ZERO experience in animation (illustration major). Many hours were spent pacing, punching and kicking for me to understand how the movements worked, but it was fun. The sprites are only 10 frames-per-second though, which I feel is low, but our art "team" only had 2 people with no experience, so some corners had to be cut, and we reasoned that it was a 2010 mobile game, so the quality can be lower.
Sorry, I don't have the full-colour completed versions, since someone else did the colouring.
